Christ Church, Paignton, is a short distance along the same road as St
Paul's church and is built of red sandstone. It is quite an old and
traditional building.

The organ, built by John Hele of Plymouth in 1889, is at the North side of the Choir,
with some pipe-work facing into the North aisle. It was rebuilt by Hele & Co in 1906,
and by Henry Speechly in 1926.
In 2004, Hele & Co of Plymouth again rebuilt the organ, incorporating electric
draw-stops.
